• Having regular exercise with no underlying disease does not guarantee that your heart is healthy and there is the absence of coronary artery disease caused by atherosclerotic plaque on the artery wall.
• Coronary Artery Calcium Scan (CAC) is a test to detect atherosclerotic plaque on the walls of the heart’s arteries, leading to restricted blood flow to the heart, acute myocardial infarction or heart attack and chronic myocardial infarction that can be potentially fatal.
• Testing takes 15 – 20 minutes without contrast injection
• It is recommended in people aged over 40 and those with family history of cardiovascular disease.

Coronary Artery Calcium Scan or Heart Scan

Coronary Artery Calcium Scan employs multidetector or multislice computerized tomography (CT) which is the use of special x-ray equipment to produce multiple detailed pictures of the coronary arteries in order to determine if they are blocked or narrowed by the buildup of plaque. A buildup of calcium can narrow the arteries and reduce blood flow to the heart. A coronary calcium scan may show coronary artery disease before you have symptoms.

1. Service is reserved exclusively for customers who present a valid E-Coupon.
2. This E-Coupon cannot be exchanged for cash.
3. The E-Coupon is applicable only to the specified items, and no changes can be made.
4. These packages are for outpatients who are physically independent.
5. These packages exclude fees for additional specialists, as well as any medications and treatments prescribed by the doctor.
6. Please make an appointment at least 3 days in advance by contacting the Contact Center at 1719.
7. Services are available at Bangkok Hospital, 2nd floor, Building D.
8. This price includes medical imaging costs and the cardiologist’s consultation fee.

Expiration Date of E-Coupon:

1. The E-Coupon is valid until October 31, 2026.
2. If the E-Coupon expires, the hospital reserves the right to deny service, and the E-Coupon cannot be extended or
   refunded.
3. This package is available for purchase only from July 25 to October 31, 2026.

Note:

1. In case of cancellation  request for reasons not related to the hospital or medical purposes, the hospital reserves the right not to issue a refund.
2. The receipt amount displayed is the actual payment received, excluding any promotional discount.
3. An e-receipt will be provided. A physical receipt can be requested at the cashier counter on the day of service.
